He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carlson Dodd; his children, Lisa Gwaltney (Keith), Andrea Cooley and Brian Dodd (Charmel); his nephew Steven Snyder; and his niece Pam Schlumpburger.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity English Lutheran Church (450 W Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46802). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
