It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Edward Cavender (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Fulton, Indiana, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cavender and Mary Cavender; his wife June Cavender (Shonk); and his siblings, Chester, Wilbur, Howard, Florence and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Jordan (Jim) of Fort Wayne, Phyllis Howell (Steve) of Bluffton, IN, Allen (Laura) of North Aurora, IL, Lawrence of Hernando, Rodney (Patti) of Glenview, IL and Lynn Miller (Rob) of Portland, OR. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
