She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovid Bauer and Beulah Bauer (Miller); her brothers, John Bauer, Donald Bauer, Clarence Bauer and Harold Bauer; her son Lee Snider; her grandchildren, Christopher, Mark, Jeff and Sara; and the fathers of children, Manford Snider and Robert Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl A. Schultz (Robert) of Fort Wayne, Dennis Snider of Fort Wayne, Lisa Hake (Frank) of Fort Wayne, Matthew Meyer of Fort Wayne and Laura Black (Dan) of Kunkle, Ohio; and her siblings, Evelyn Gilliam of Lexington, Agnes Huddleston of Fort Wayne, Richard Bauer of Fort Wayne and Paul Bauer of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Gertrude's name may be directed to Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter or Humane Fort Wayne.
