We announce the death of Gladys Urmeneta Buenconsejo of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Gladys will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guillermo Urmeneta and Lourdes Aguilar; and her husband Roberto Buenconsejo. She is survived by: her daughters, Gemma McClendon (Trent) and Cynthia Hayes (John); her granddaughters, Jamie King, Maxine King and Amerie McClendon; and her sisters, Lourdes Fabio (Ricardo) of Orange County, Delores Macaraeg and Elizabeth Racoma (Baby).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley (1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
