He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wright and Margaret Wright; his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Donald, Ray, Bill, Jim, Dave and Rowena.

He is survived by: his sons, Glen, Alan and Thomas. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
