We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Glorena Hancock Schwonke of Fort Wayne, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sheffey and Lessie Hazel Hancock of Bland, VA.; her siblings, William, Andrew, Ronald Hancock and Elizabeth Lambert; her husband William A. Schwonke; and her stepdaughter Gail Wonderly.
She is survived by: her stepson William Same of Fort Wayne, IN; her stepdaughter-in-law Mary Kay Same of Fort Wayne, IN; and her godchildren, Seth of Bastian, VA, Michelle Farmer of Bastian, VA and Matthew Cantrell of Bastian, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces as well as nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local rescue squad or charity of donor's choice.
