He was predeceased by: his mother Carole Byrt; and his stepmother Sharon Thiele. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Anthony Mauricio (Katy) and Ashley Mauricio (Mike); his father Sam Thiele; his siblings, Kim Uhl (Andy), Jeff Thiele (Lori) and Todd Schneck (Victoria); his grandchildren, Emmalynn, Sebastian and Leo; his mother-in-law Marilyn Vardaman; and his sisters-in-law, Dianna Keller and Dorenna Gospodarek (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
