He is survived by: his wife Linda Petersen; his children, Angela Kowalewski (Joseph) of Ohio, Gregory Petersen, Jr. (Natalie) of Illinois, Paula Abdool of Fort Wayne, IN and Melissa Scheele (Nathan) of California; and his siblings, George Petersen (Elaine) of Fort Wayne, IN and Cynthia Diedrich of Illinois. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
