She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Madie Moore and Bennie Moore; her significant other Milton M. Morgan; her daughters, Dr. Janet D. Morgan and Judge Lori K. Morgan; her sons-in-law, Attorney Ernest L. Wilkerson, Jr. and Brian K. Maxey; her grandchildren, Jillian M. Wilkerson and Braylon K. Maxey; her siblings, Doris Smith, Catherine Leigh, Hazel Batts (Van) and Bennie Moore; and her sister-in-law Mary Moore.
