It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Carl Friedrich of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedricke Friedrich and Herman L. Friedrich Sr.; his siblings, Elfriede "Fritzie" Hey (Byard), Lottie Uffleman (Rupert), Leonard and Herman L Friedrich Jr. (Dorothy); and his grandson Max Breitinger.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Friedrich; his children, Jeff Friedrich (Lisa), Laurie Barela (Mark) and Mark Friedrich (Angela); and his grandchildren, Jessica Misiak (Ryan), Alex Friedrich, Megan Barnett (Tyler), Alayna Barela, Jenay Barela, Marcus Barela (Lauren), Arie Friedrich, Olivia Friedrich, Lillian Friedrich, Ben Breitinger, Alex Breitinger (Annie), Paige Goodwin (Daniel), Zachary Tatman, Emily Haven (Ryan) and Ryan Tatman (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakes (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Harold would appreciate donations made to Eleos Hospice Care, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, or Cross Border Partners, 929 N Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 in Lieu of flowers.
