He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Kristen Colley (Joe) and Michael Hines; his grandchildren, Samantha, Emersen, Savannah, Devyn, Maxton and Merrick; his brothers, Doug Hines and Tim; and his sister-in-law Nada Osborne (Rust).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
