He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry H. Mart and Maryellen Mart (Fort); his children, Renee B. Brueggemann (Darrin) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jennifer A. Norwood of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Brian J. Mart (Robin) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his siblings, John F. Mart of Skokie, Illinois and Susan J. Penrod (Jack) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Emily Lapp (Logan), Aiden Mart, Gavin Mart, Gibson Mart, Malina Mart, Taylynn Mart, Kazmyn Mart and Crimsyn Mart; his great grandchildren, Vivian Lapp and Cora Lapp; his brother Jerry L. Mart; and the mother of his children Vena.
Preferred memorials are to Trinity Lutheran Church – Men's Club.
