She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Griffis and Helen Griffis; and her siblings, Richard Griffis, David Griffis and Lynn Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Yongpeter; her children, Paul Youngpeter (Kim), David Youngpeter, Julia Myers (Steve), Jill Brown (Matthew), Mary Youngpeter, Janet Schwarz (Andreas) and Karen Ridenour (Bradley); her siblings, Terri Massa (Bruce) and Craig Griffis (Bonnie); and her sister-in-law Nancy Griffis. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miss Virginia's Food Pantry.
