He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Wells and Ernestina Y. Wells. He is survived by: his friend Angela Venzke of Fort Wayne, IN; and his siblings, Charles Wells of Magazine, AR, Lewis Beets of Medford, OR, Eileen Winnie of Medford, OR and Melody Robinson.

Memorial donations in his honor may be made to The League.
