He is survived by: his children, Max Trier of Muncie, IN, Nancy Trier-Metzger (Dan) of Wichita, KS, Steve Trier of Fort Wayne, Janet Daniel (Mark) of Fort Wayne and Carolyn Trier of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Anastasia Metzger, Luke Metzger, Hannah Magill (Derek), Michael Trier, Samantha Trier, Conrad Trier, Carmen Trier, Estelle Daniel, Claire Halluska (Dan), Sierra Daniel, Hope Daniel, Nicole LaRue and Rachel LaRue; his great grandchildren, Theo Halluska and Arlo Halluska; his nephew David Breininger; and his nieces, Beth Gerholt and Bonnie Fraser.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Bach Collegium, or the First Presbyterian Theater.
