He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Byrd and Juanita Byrd (Moser); and his brother Donald T. Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Byrd; his children, Jack Byrd (Laurie) and Jamie Brown (Keith); his grandchildren, Janelle Byrd, Jack M. Byrd (Holly), Alexandria Smith (Wade) and Spencer Brown (Serenity); his great grandchildren, Adeanna Byrd, Jackson Byrd, Asher Smith, Easton Smith, Avery Smith and Amira Brown; and his sister Ramona Staley (Dick).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals (6810 Old Trail Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46809). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
