She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell T Smith and Geraldine Smith (Mitchell). She is survived by: her husband Larry L Springer; her daughters, Diana Rang (John), Kelly Biddle and Shelly Springer; and her brother Thomas M Smith (Mary). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, the Parkview Cancer Institute, or Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
