He was predeceased by : his parents, Pompilio Estevez Peña and Ana Dolores Rodriquez of Estevez. He is survived by : his children, Shane, Yanira, Esperanza and Ivonne. He is also survived by several grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (2213 Brooklyn Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46802).
