It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dale Wheeler of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ellis L. Wheeler, Sr.; his stepfather Jim Passwater; his father-in-law Richard Mundt; and his grandson Nash Austin Wheeler. He is survived by: his mother Callie Marie Passwater of Fort Wayne, IN; his wife Diana Lynn Wheeler of Fort Wayne, IN; his sons, James Wheeler Jr. (Sarah) of Fort Wayne, IN, Christopher Wheeler of Fort Wayne, IN, Timothy Wheeler (Sharon) of Fort Wayne, IN and Scott Wheeler (Jennifer) of Leo, IN; his siblings, Ellis Wheeler Jr. (Carol) of Cleveland, TN, Bobby Wheeler (Judy) and Vicki Racine (Jim) of Fort Wayne, IN; his grandchildren, Kayla, Annie, Emma, Hunter, Whitney, Logan, Olivia, Kian, Gracie, Kendall, Ella, Kelsea and Hudson Wheeler; and his pet Cooper.
