James Finton Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of James Finton (Fort Wayne, Indiana). James, born on May 11, 1952, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Finton and Joan Finton (Main); his wife Sandra Joy Davis; and his brothers, John and Chuck Finton.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert Hunsche (Kathryn) and Christopher Finton (Kristy); his grandchildren, Kayla, Gavin, Railly, Marissa, Trey, Joey and AJ; and his siblings, Ray Finton and Cindy (Louis).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in James's memory.
