It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Mercer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Mercer and Dorothy Mercer; his sister Karen Mercer; his niece Nicole Penwarden; and his brother Gary Mercer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lesa Penwarden (Bob McGee), Scott Mercer, Tim Mercer, Roger Mercer and Leonard Mercer; his nephews, Mark Penwarden (Jessica) and Grady Mercer; his niece Michelle Mercer; and his great-nieces, Destiny and Evie.
