We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 62, James Gerard Meyer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Jeanne Meyer and Marcia Strieck (Meyer); and his brother-in-law James Strieck. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Boxell; his nieces, Erin Wikoff (Haley) of Davenport, IA and Carrie Coats (Billy) of Arlington, TX; his great-nephew Isaiah Coats (Amanda); his great-nieces, Elena Coats and Meyer Wikoff; his brother-in-law Erik Boxell (Imade); and his nieces, Makayla and Keira Boxell.
