He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Stoody, and Veronica Stoody, Sr. (Bensman); and his siblings, John, Thomas, Joseph Stoody, Jr. and Patricia Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Mary F. Stoody (Murphy); his sister-in-law Shelia Stoody; and his nephew Thomas Murphy. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
