Jane B. Arata Obituary
The memory of Jane B. Arata (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Lephart and Sally Lephart; her husband Dr. James (Jim); her sister Susan Ferverda; and her daughter Maureen.
She is survived by: her sister Nancy Tipple; and her children, Elaine Arata (Mark Pecevich), Cindy Heinze, Nancy, Jim (Gina), Cheryl, Tim (Loretta Jones) and Lisa Yde (Mark). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (12305 Arcola Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818).
