As Janet departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Janet. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Dolby and Wilma Dolby (Wolf); and her brother Dale. She is survived by: her children, Richie Roberts (Laura), Toni Hunter (Greg) and Dawn Roberts; and her sisters-in-law, Betty McAfee, Sue Roberts, Joyce Longenberger and Marie Dolby.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
Jan had always wanted to donate her body to science and was able to do so through the IU Anatomical Education Program. Memorials to Stillwater Hospice or IU Anatomical Education Program.
