It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Rose Ballinger in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Timmons and Goldie Timmons; her husband Joseph Frank Ballinger; and her siblings, Joan Carpenter (Ron) and Dick Timmons.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Marvel (Corina) and Janiece Ephlin; her grandchildren, Melody and Meredith; her brother David Timmons (Brenda Prichard); her sister-in-law Dolores Timmons; and her aunts, Marie Timmons and Janet Timmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home (102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
