She was predeceased by: her husband Manfred Lee "Pete" Melchi; her parents, Everett Hutker and Helen Hutker (Spindler); and her siblings, Everett Hutker, Jr., William Hutker, Larry Hutker and Virginia Quance.

She is survived by: her children, Melody Hostetler (Al) of Briarcliff, Lee Melchi (Jacque) of Coldwater and Dean Melchi (Kathy) of Hillsdale; Ted Hutker of Decatur, Indiana.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
