Jerild King Obituary
We announce the death of Jerild King (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 71. Jerild will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John King and Beatrice King (Tracy); his grandson Joel Hockemeyer; his in-laws, Gerald and Kathleen Olver; and his brothers-in-law, David Olver and Doug Selck.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy King (Olver); his daughters, Heather Washburn and Jessica Hockemeyer; his grandchildren, Kayla Boucher (Ryan), Alix Schilling, Jacob Hockemeyer (Nicole), Ashley Karn, Justin Hockemeyer and Haley Hockemeyer; his great grandchildren, Dash Boucher, Ashton Hockemeyer and Hazel Hockemeyer; and his brothers, Ron (Sally), Jeff (Alice) and Greg King (Karla). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
