He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hipskind and Frances Hipskind (Casey); his wife Margaret E. "Peggy" Hipskind (Houlihan); his son Terry Hipskind; and his siblings, Dave, Dan, Norma and Lois.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Hipskind (Nancy) of Glenview, IL, Chris Hipskind (Maureen) of Hinsdale, IL and Jeff Hipskind (Michelle) of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
