It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Jones Sr. (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Cecil Smith (Maurice "Sunny"); his son Michael Jones; and his great grandchild Willow Nord. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jean Jones; his children, Carmen Walker (Vincent), Robert Davis, Dreshawn Jones, Makia Jones-Hunter (Tonetric), Radisha Jones-Lynch (Ashlee), Jurina Jones, Marquette Jones (Tequa), Jimmie Jones (Bianca), Sarina Jones, Makayla Thompson (Caleb), Kristian Jones and Zariah Jones (Wallace); his grandsons, Simmons Jr. and Latavious Jones; and his great grandchildren, Yamari Nord, Arya Davis and Avion Davis. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Redemption Church (3333 E Tillman Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46816). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
