He is survived by: his brother Charles Dimit (Lynne) of Roanoke; his half-siblings, John Dimit (Angie) of Urbana, IL, Richard Dimit of Indianapolis and Nacy Anderson of Bloomington, IN.; his children, Dianne V. Axt (Roger) of Monroeville, IN, Michael S. Dimit (Debra) of Fort Wayne, IN and Angela K. Smith (Glen) of Angola, IN.; his grandchildren, Brittani Bodey (Andy), Ryan Axt (Ashtin), Mathew Dimit (Jessica), Molly Slaughbaugh (Evan), Alec, Addison and Aiden Bayman; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Kenslee, Barrett, Oaklyn and Maryn.
