He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Simpson and Maudie Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Earlene Simpson; his daughters, Melissa Burke (Scott) and Sonya Wheatcraft (Jim); his grandchildren, Mercedes Tyree, Logan Huffman, Alissa Rice (Bradley) and Lexi Reader (Landon); and his siblings, Ray Simpson, Gelema Loomos, Mary Stevens and Thea Roy Simpson Joe. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
