He was predeceased by: his former wives, Carleen and Thelma; his son John III; his brother Milton; his nephew Jim; and his stepdaughter-in-law Melinda.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Paul (Jenny) and Catherine; his daughter-in-law Laurel; his stepsons, Brett and Kent; his grandchildren, Rachel (Drew), Cheryl (Travis), Kaitlynn, Jordan, Dana, Alex (Staci) and Ian; his stepgranddaughters, Jade, Megan and Kende (Jason); his nephew Rob; and his niece Elizabeth. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westview Alliance Church (9804 Illinois Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
