John M. Caruthers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Caruthers (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Phillips Hall; and his grandmother Mattie Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Caruthers of Westerville, Ohio; his children, John Scott Caruthers of Houston, Texas, Saralee Caruthers of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Katherine Ann Rhoades (Craig) of Dublin, Ohio.; his grandchildren, John Isaac Rhoades (Mallorie) of Sunbury and Katherine Alexandra Putnam (Kevin) of Powell; and his great grandchildren, John Oliver Rhoades and Charles James Putnam.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes (8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
