He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gething and Wanda Gething. He is survived by: his wife Betty Long; his children, Debra Borns (Steve), Cindy Bock (Terry), Bill Gething (Cathy) and Becky Owen (Jerry); and his sister Jean Richards. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
