It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnny Lee Lawrence (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lawrence and Lula V. Billingsley Lawrence; his grandparents, Calvin and Lydia Billingsley; his siblings, Chester Adams and Vivian Lawrence; his parents-in-law, TJ and Willie H. Rowell; and his son-in-law Eric Alphonso Logan.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda A. Lawrence; his children, Keisha Logan, Joshua Lawrence, Jermaine Goree (Natoshia) and Marcus Hill; and his siblings, Kathleen "Bobbi" Boughton (Robert), Lydia Ann Lawrence, Rosemary Baker, Terry Lawrence (Mary) and Kenneth Lawrence, Sr. (Anita). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (1331 Gay St, Fort Wayne, IN 46803). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
