He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bowland and Sarah Bowland; and his sister Cathy Bowland. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Morton; his children, Nicole Fischer (Craig) and Matt Hanes (Shannon); his granddaughter Hazel Fischer; and his brother Jim Bowland (Nancy). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). The inurnment was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Covington Memorial Gardens (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
