We are sad to announce that, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 85, Joyce Farrington of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter S. Smith Sr. and Charlotte J. Smith (Beck); her husband Kermit "Gene" Farrington Jr.; her brother-in-law Paul Dell; and her nephews, Steven E. Dell and David A. Dell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy M. Dell of New Haven and Walter S. Smith Jr. (Jeanne) of St. Joe. She is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; four great nieces; and one great nephew.
