She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Perry and Violet M. Perry; her husband Cecil Whitaker; her daughter Rebecca Pontzius; and her siblings, Harold Perry, Charles Perry, Richard Perry and Grace Westfall.
She is survived by: her children, Debra K. York of Auburn, IN, Douglas W. Brown of Ohio, Kenneth A. Brown of Garrett, IN and Charles B. Brown (Amanda Deever) of Fort Wayne, IN; her sister-in-law Maxine Perry of Garrett, IN; and her niece Catherine. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
