She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rife and Anna Mae Rife (Knight); her husband Harold A. Durnell; and her siblings, Richard Schaefer, William Rife, Michael Rife, Sandra Atkinson and Catherine Rife.

She is survived by: her sons, Harold Durnell (Lisa Jordan), Scott Durnell (Dawn) and Greg Durnell (Donna); and her siblings, Robert Rife (Becky), Stephen Rife (Deb), Edward Rife (Lucille), Donald Rife (Debbie), Linda Patrick (Randy), Diane Damon (Pat), Shirley Jackson, Donna Dornseif (Ed) and Marsha Merrit. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
