It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Roeger of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Brown and Eileen Brown; her son Stephen; her husband John Roeger Sr.; her sister Barbara Borthwick; her children-in-law, Cynthia Ashworth and Robert Mellin; and her siblings-in-law, William Roeger, Charles Haft, Bruce Exner, Raymond Mathys and Cecile Roeger.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Karen Nesius Roeger) of Fort Wayne, Maureen Roeger of Fort Wayne, Karen Hill (Happy) of Brownsburg, Thomas (Catharine Radamacher) of Bloomington, Patricia Elsten (Steven) of Carmel, Kathleen Roberts (Michael Haas) of Kokomo, James, Jean Barratt (Dean) of Carmel, Jude (Kristyne) of Carmel and John (Lori) of Chicago; her siblings, Richard Brown (Virginia) of Midlothian, Virginia, David Brown (Nancy) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Andrea Brown of Smyrna, Delaware; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Haft, Mary Exner, Dorthea Roeger of Fort Wayne, Carolyn Mathys of Geneva and William Borthwick of Irving, Texas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
In 2020, Judy, who had been living with Parkinson's disease for a number of years, moved from her home in Fort Wayne to Brownsburg, Indiana, to live with her daughter Karen and son-in-law Happy Hill.
