She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Sliger; her husband Homer Hardesty; her daughter Kitty Hardesty; and her sister Laverne "Lucky" Buckwald. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Hardesty (Walt), Kim Garrison (Alan), Danny Hardesty (Debby), Greg Hardesty (Debbie) and Mark Hardesty (Becky); and her siblings, Sue Harrington, Bonnie Walker and Butch Sliger. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
