As Kathryn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathryn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathryn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Vivian Smith; and her brother Don Smith. She is survived by: her sister Marcia Fort; her children, Marilyn Shultz (Tom Spence) and Dr. Clifford Shultz II (Katherine Shultz); and her grandson Matthew Shultz.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park (4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
