She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Johnson and Kathryn Johnson (Sealts); her siblings, Michael "Tom" Johnson, Robert "Bob" Johnson, Brice Johnson and Joan Megley; her sisters-in-law, Joan Johnson and Verna Dean Johnson; and her nephews, Bobby Johnson, Scott Johnson and Jonathan Wolter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sara Ayres Craig (Mike) and Alison Ayres Birkmeier (Mark); her grandchildren, Kristina Urberg, Christian Urberg, Paul Birkmeier (Leah), John Birkmeier, Elizabeth Craig and Alana Craig; her sister Kandy Wolter (Jim); and her niece Jan Johnson.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Saint Francis and Lutheran Life Villages Employee Appreciation Program.
