He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Phillips and Leta Phillips; and his close friend Eric Lemkhule. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Phillips (Tiffany Christopher) of Marion, Indiana, Jennifer MacPherson (Corey) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Gregory Phillips (Danielle) of Evanston, Illinois; his grandchildren, Donovan, Caden, Bailey, Parker, Emma and June; and his siblings, Mike Phillips (Liz) of Fenton, Michigan, Leanne Szatkowski (Gene) of Fenton, Michigan and Laurie Peckham (Tony) of Flint, Michigan..
