He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Barnhart and Judy Barnhart; and his son Adam Mendenhall. He is survived by: his children, Kelsea Bays (Jeffrey), Melina Fetz (James) and Ryan Smith; and his siblings, Scott Cotton (Michelle Gumbert) and Rhonda Smith (Kerry). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
