He was predeceased by: his wife Vanmany Phothirath. He is survived by: his children, Latdavanh "Linda" Phothirath (Brian Young) of South Bend, Sriphachanh "Jenny" Phothirath (Bounyasit Vongsa) of Elkhart and Rattana "David" Khamphoumy of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Emily, Andrew and Xzavien Phothirath; and his children, Donovan and Shaiyenne Phommaha.
