We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ladislaus William Hanzel of Fort Wayne, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ramona (Becher); his daughter Mary Lou; his parents, Frances Hanzel and Joseph Hanzel; and his siblings, Joseph, John of Reverend Louis, SVD, Robert, Mary Murray and Theresa Gorman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Suzi Hanzel, Julie Hanzel and Karen Pati (Gopal); his grandchildren, Ricki Hanzel (Michael Patino), Greg Sherman (Karen Eller), Matt Nuckolls (Jessie) and Sara Sherman (Trey Mariner); and his great grandchildren, Damian, Lily, Amelia, Ivan Nuckolls, Fiona and Milo Sherman. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, he requested donations be made to the parish, specifically to Queen of Angels for the Hanzel Handicap Improvement Fund, 1500 West State Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808.
