She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Hamilton. She is survived by: her pet Julia; her father Phil Fortman (Barbara); her siblings, Bob Fortman (Marie), Jamie Drake (Amber) and Beth Hamilton (Adam); and her nieces and nephews, Bobby, Cat, Jessica, Aaron, Lucas, Sofia, Leila and Sam.

The family requests that memorials be made to The Carriage House, where Laurie found regular support and companionship.
