He is survived by: his sons, Mike Lauer (Mary Beth), Greg Lauer (Kris), Daniel Lauer (Marla), Larry Lauer (Denise) of Westville and Mark Lauer (Lori) of Fremont; his siblings, Joseph Edward "Ed" Lauer of Fort Wayne and Catherine A. Roth of Huntertown; and his grandchildren, Angie (Nick), Jeff, Brandon (Maria), Ben (Sydney), Adam (Heather), Chrissy (Edwin), Andy (Tanya), Malcolm, Ryan (Ashley), Missy (Terrell), Sam (Brian), Nic (Jenny), Jessie (Nick), Zac (Gina) and Abbey. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
